JAMMU, Apr 8: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha has prorogued the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, bringing the budget session formally to an end.
“I, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under clause (a) of the sub-section (2) of the Section 18 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, do hereby prorogue the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly,” read an order issued by LG Manoj Sinha.
