SRINAGAR, Sept 21: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Shailendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, on the passing away of his father.
In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said: “The loss of a parent is painful and indescribable. My deepest condolences to Shailendra Kumar on the demise of his father Lalan Prasad Ji. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Lalan Prasad, father of Shailendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production Department.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
The Chief Minister also attended the cremation ceremony today and stood in solidarity with the family, offering his support and strength in this hour of grief.
