UDHAMPUR, Oct 7: In a compassionate effort to aid those affected by the recent floods, Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF) donated 210 hygiene kits and 200 medical kits, along with 50 mosquito repellent coils, to the District Administration, Udhampur, under its Flood Relief Initiative.
The hygiene kits comprised sanitary napkins (2000), bathing soaps, washing soaps, and toothpaste, while the medical kits included essential medicines such as Paracetamol, Vitamin syrups, antibiotics, Betadine, bandages, cotton, and ORS.
The donation was handed over in the presence of Saloni Rai, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, reflecting the organization’s commitment to providing relief and rehabilitation to flood-affected families.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Parihar, Director & CEO of Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation, said “Our organization stands committed to serving those in need during testing times. Through collective effort and compassion, we aim to restore hope and provide essential support to the affected families.”
Saloni Rai appreciated the efforts of the NGO, stating “The contribution made by Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation is commendable. Such support from social organizations plays a vital role in strengthening the administration’s relief and rehabilitation efforts for affected communities.”
Members present during the donation included Abhinandan, Aman, Kashish Katoch, Ridhvik, and Kangan, who actively participated in the initiative.
