JAMMU, Sept 19: A Legal Awareness Camp was held at Sumb, tehsil and district Samba.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of Kartar Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Samba, in collaboration with Chairman, tehsil Legal Services Committee.
During the camp, Rajinder Kumar Bhagat and Kasturi Lal Verma, Advocates (Retainer Lawyers) apprised the gathering about the programmes/ schemes sanctioned as per the national plan of action for the present fiscal relating to availability of health care services. They also spoke about the legal aid rules and regulations.
Among others present were Ram Pal Sharma, Naib Tehsildar, Samba (Member Secretary), Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Samba, Dr Vikash Bhardwaj, BMO, Parminder Singh, District Immunization Officer, Ashok Kumar, District Malaria Officer, Samba, Dr Ghara Ram, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Sumb, Asha workers and general masses.
