JAMMU, Dec 11: The central body of All J&K +2 Lecturers, ‘ Forum ( Kashmir and Jammu units) today held a zoom meet that was chaired by Pardeep Singh Rakwal- President (J) as well as RS Salathia- Chairman and presided over by Shakeel Ahmed Butt- President (K) and Fida Gulzar- Chairman.
Addressing the meet Shakeel Ahmed Butt & Fida Gulzar,President and Chairman respectively (Kashmir Division) said that they had a fruitful discussion at Srinagar with Sakina Masood Itoo, Minister of Education regarding regularisation of Incharge lecturers and other issues. They further said that Itoo had assured the delegation that regularisation would be done in the current month.
Pardeep Singh Rakwal and RS Salathia informed the meet that they called on Principal Secretary SED, Suresh Kumar Gupta and other senior officers of School Education Department for the resolution of key issues of the lecturer fraternity. They too had been assured that the work on regularisation of Incharge lecturers was in full swing and soon the matter would be sorted out. They also raised the issue of ACP and immediate filling up of vacant posts of Principals by elevating senior lecturers to achieve academic excellence.
Besides, Pardeep Koul, District President Kishtwar and Surinder Madhyal, District President Kathua, others who spoke in the virtual meet include Malik Mohammed Younus, Ashok Kumar, Farooq Ahmed, Mohd Yousuf, GN Malik and R K Padroo.
