UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: The district Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has urged upon the Government to fill up vacant posts of principals, lecturers, master and teachers in the School Education Department.
In a meeting of the Udhampur unit of the Forum held under the chairmanship of Arunesh Kumar, district president, the members discussed various issues. They demanded filling up of all the vacant posts including non-teaching staff, inviting suggestions from Teachers’ bodies with regard to the new education policy, non-vacational status for Plus 2 Principals, parity in the pay scale of lecturers in Physical Education, restoration of 40 % promotional quota to Higher Education, running pattern for Plus 2 lecturers, enhancement of grade pay of Principals at par with their counter parts in JNVs and KVs, appointment of Chairman of J&K Board, regularization of I/C CEOs, principals and left out lecturers and re-organisation Directorate of Schools Education.
