Law Department, Law School register wins

JAMMU, Mar 28: Law Department and Law School scripted resounding victories in the ongoing Inter-Department Cricket Tournament, being organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Varsity ground, here.
In the first match played today, the Law Department defeated the Department of Sociology by 8 wickets, while in another match, the Law School thrashed the Department of Buddhist Studies by 10 wickets.
In the first match, Sociology Department scored 74 runs, while Law Department chsed the target by losing 2 wickets, while in another match, Buddhist Studies scored 94 runs and the Law School chased the target in 9.3 overs without losing any wicket. Gourav Khajuria scored magnificent 53 runs and Chander Dev contributed valuable 32 runs to the total.
The matches were officiated by Jagtar Singh, Satpal, Raman Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Vijay Dogra and Raj Kumar Bakshi.
