JAMMU, Dec 27: The last Kaal Bhairav Ashtami of the year 2021 was celebrated here today with religious fervor at ancient temple of Bhagwan Kaal Bhairav Ji in Chowk Chabtura area of old Jammu city.
Pandit Rumil Sharma of Kaal Bhairav temple informed that special Pooja and other rituals were performed on this occasion and prayers were offered for the peace and well being of humankind.
Apart from this Kanya Pujan was also performed on this occasion and ritual of recitation of several names of Kaal Bharav Ji was also performed.
This was followed by a Bhandara at historical Mubarak Mandi lawns and a large number of devotees were served Prasad.
Devotees thronged the temple to pay obeisance and in evening special Arti and ritual of Fanda was organized.
Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Advocate Purnima Sharma was prominent among those visiting the temple.
