NEW DELHI, Oct 12: The Korean Cultural Centre India successfully brought the heart of Seoul to Delhi in the fourth edition of ‘Rang De Korea’, which concluded today and is said to be the biggest such fest in the country.
Hwang Il Yong, the Director of Korean Cultural Centre India, who works to promote cultural exchange between South Korea and India expressed his gratitude to Delhiites, for supporting and appreciating the Korean culture.
He said that Korean culture is becoming popular among the younger generation here, and the market for products such as K-beauty and K-food is also growing.
Meanwhile, the famous South Korean boy band Younite also performed in the fest that filled Delhiites with enthusiasm, as they performed their hit title tracks such as Bomba and Rock Steady.The K-pop group performed several other popular songs that filled their Indian fans with joy.
Earlier in the day, Younite also interacted with the fans in the form of a ‘Fan Meeting’
The event was organised in South Delhi from October 11, where a large number of people visited.
Power-packed performances of Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration, traditional music and b-boying – a traditional dance performance, were showcased at the event.
Another highlight of the event was the five ‘Seoul Street’ zones that were thronged by visitors who came in early to experience a slice of Seoul in their own city. (UNI)
