JAMMU, Dec 5: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the Health and Family Welfare Ministry’s proposal to extend the Central deputation of 2009 batch IAS officer Raghav Langer, who is serving as Secretary of the National Medical Commission.

As per an order, his tenure has been extended by one year beyond October 3, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Health and Family Welfare for extension of Central deputation tenure of Raghav Langer, IAS (UD:2009), Secretary, National Medical Commission (NMC) (JS Level) under Department of Health & Family Welfare for a period of one year beyond October 3, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” read an order issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training.
