JAMMU, Aug 23: The land grabbers are flourishing with the connivance of law enforcing authorities of concerned Police Stations and forcibly trying to grab the land of poor land owners despite court orders during the present rule of Coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah, said State president, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Tulsi Dass Langeh, while touring various segments of the district.
He said that it is a matter of grave concern that land grabbers are being sheltered and poor land owners are beaten by the land grabbers and when they approach the concerned Police Station for seeking help, the concerned SHO with the connivance of land grabbers implicate them in fabricated cases instead of taking action against the culprits.
Case of Chuni Lal residence of Pangiari (Gopala) falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Akhnoor and case of Biba Ram residence of Gharota falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota are some live examples before us, he added.
