KARGIL, Dec 9: Under the Chairmanship of the Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, the launching ceremony of “Padega Kargil Badega Kargil” was inaugurated today.
The initiative aims to assess the overall development and learning outcomes of school children across the Kargil district.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks by the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, who briefed about the objectives and framework of the initiative.
He highlighted that, based on the results of the upcoming third-party assessment examinations in schools, a new transfer policy for teachers in the Education Department would be implemented to strengthen accountability and improve service delivery.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, CEC Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon described the new transfer policy as a historic step and assured that the entire process would remain transparent, fair, and merit-based, ensuring improved quality of education for the greater benefit of both students and teachers.
He further appreciated the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, for his dedication and commitment toward improving quality of education and enhancing academic standards in the district.
Dr. Akhoon also extended special appreciation and gratitude to all Councillors of LAHDC Kargil for their continuous cooperation and support in finalizing and advancing the transfer policy of the Education Department.
During the ceremony, several Councillors also expressed their thanks to the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, and officials of the Education Department for their efforts in strengthening the education system.
