SAMBA, Apr 26: Continuing its drive against the illicit liquor, Ramgarh police today raided village Radwan and destroyed the 840 liters of Lahan on spot.
Ramgarh police received information through reliable sources regarding the Lahan kept in the field at village Radwan in district Samba and swung into the action. SHO Ramgarh ,Chaman Gorkha along with team raided the village Radwan and destroyed the 840 liters of Lahan which was hidden in the field.
Chaman Gorkha, told this reporter that during the lockdown, all the wine shops are closed but few people were manufacturing the desi liquor today we have raided at village Radwan and destroyed 840 liters of Lahan on spot which was hidden in the field. He further said our campaign will continue against the drug peddlers and liquor mafia.
The whole operation conducted under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Shakti Pathak under the direct supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
