Leh, Jun 12: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued two key notifications under the Factories Act, 1948.
As per S.O. 63, the Administrative Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, has been appointed as the Chief Inspector of Factories.
The Deputy and Under Secretaries have been designated as Joint Chief Inspector, while Assistant Labour Commissioners have been appointed as Deputy Chief Inspectors
Separately, under S.O. 64, the Medical Superintendent of SNM Hospital, Leh, and the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Kargil, have been appointed as Certifying Surgeons for their respective districts.
