JAMMU, May 2: The UT Administration of Ladakh has set up a Screening Committee to assess contractual and ad-hoc teachers educating children with special needs, following Supreme Court directions.
The committee, led by the School Education Secretary, includes the Disability Commissioner and a representative from the Rehabilitation Council of India.
It will evaluate teachers’ qualifications, experience, and service length to recommend eligible candidates for regular posts and consider age relaxation where needed.
