RAMBAN, Apr 18: A young labourer here today was crushed to death under a Tipper (Dumper) vehicle in Jabbar Morh area of Gool.
Police sources informed that the Tipper involved in the accident was bearing registration number JK01AN-5418.
The deceased was identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Mohd Ramzan, resident of Bandipora, Kashmir.
SHO Police Station Gool, Inspector Sameer informed that the vehicle involved in the accident was seized and driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was arrested.
He was identified as Farooq Ahmed, son Shamas Din, resident of Kupwara.
A case in this regard has been registered in FIR no. 32 of 2025 under Section 281/106(1) BNS at Police Station Gool and investigations started.
