KISHTWAR, Mar 12: Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the Labour Department Kishtwar, led by ALC Kishtwar, Mamta Sudershan, here today handed over compensation to the family of late Ashish Kumar, resident of Kewal, Bounjwah, who was working as a supervisor at the Rattle Hydroelectric Power Project (HEP) and tragically lost his life in a workplace accident.
Compensation amount of over Rs. 16 lakh was transferred by Mega Engineering and Infrastructure Limited into the account of ALC Kishtwar and formally handed over to the bereaved family.
Mamta Sudershan expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and reiterated the Labour Department’s commitment in providing timely support and welfare measures for the employees and their families affected by workplace accidents.
