KV for Nagseni a landmark step: LoP

JAMMU, Oct 1: In a landmark step towards strengthening education infrastructure in remote and underserved areas of Jammu and Kashmir, a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) has been sanctioned for the remote Nagseni area of the Kishtwar district.
Leader of Opposition (LoP), Sunil Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, LG Manoj Sinha, and the entire cabinet for sanctioning of the institution, and described the move as a major decision that will open new avenues of learning and opportunity for the children of the region.
He said the school will provide access to quality education and ensure inclusive development in the far-flung area.
Sharma noted that the people of Nagseni had long been demanding such an institution, and today their aspirations have been fulfilled.
“I am delighted to see my consistent efforts bear fruit. This is indeed a historic step towards education empowerment and the inclusive development of Nagseni and the entire Kishtwar district,” the LoP, sunil Sharma said.
According to him, the sanctioning of the institute has been widely welcomed as a step that will not only benefit students but also contribute to the overall growth of the district by addressing a key developmental gap.
