KV Bhaderwah celebrates Annual Day

BHADERWAH, May 12: Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhaderwah celebrated its Annual Day amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation, here today.
The day was reserved for a gala presentation which was held at jam-packed Community Hall, Kotli.
Dr Sagar Dattaray Doifode, District Development Commissioner Doda was the chief guest, while Director All India Radio Inayat-Ullah Gohar, Commanding Officer RR Bhaderwah Col D D Panday, ADC and SP Bhadarwah also graced the occasion with their presence.
The programme started with the presentation of bouquets and badges to the dignitaries by the representative students followed the lighting of ceremonial lamp along with Saraswati Vandana.
SC Sharma, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhaderwah presented welcome address, highlighting the school’s achievements in both academic and co-curricular activities and presented his vision for the progress of the school.
The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events which mesmerized the audience. They showcased their talent by means of dance performances, songs, qawali, mime, yoga, role play, skit and thematic choreography.
The chief guest Dr Doifode, Col. D. D. Panday and Tehsildar Bhadarwah Zeeshan Tahir gave the prizes to the meritorious students who had excelled in academics, Cultural and various sports competitions held at School, Cluster and National Level.
The chief guest in his speech lauded the efforts of the Principal and the staff members for providing quality education and going an extra mile to hold the function after 4 years.
The chief guest said that to provide quality education in the far off areas of this hilly district is a challenge, adding that the Administration is trying its best to provide all the infrastructure required in every nook and corner of the District.
The vote of thanks was delivered by PGT  Kamlesh Kumar.
The programme ended with the presentation of National Anthem.
