Kuwait finance ministry, oil refinery hit by drone strikes

MOSCOW, April 5: A fire broke out at an oil refinery in Kuwait’s Shuwaikh district, while the Kuwaiti Finance Ministry building sustained significant damage following a series of drone attacks on Sunday. No casualties have been reported.

According to the KUNA news agency, employees at the Finance Ministry complex have been instructed to work remotely after the attack caused substantial material damage to the building.

Earlier, on Wednesday, drones targeted Kuwait International Airport, setting fuel tanks ablaze.

On February 28, the US and Israel began striking targets in Iran, including Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Iran is carrying out retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory, as well as on US military targets in the Middle East.
