Kundal receives COAS Disc

POONCH, Jan 15: Former Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, has been conferred with the prestigious Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Disc (Award) in recognition of his exemplary administrative services and outstanding contribution during Operation Sindoor.
The award acknowledges Vikas Kundal’s effective leadership, exceptional coordination with the Indian Army and civil administration, and his unwavering commitment to public service during a critical operational period.
His proactive approach, timely decision-making and efficient crisis management played a vital role in ensuring smooth civil-military coordination and maintaining public safety and essential services during the operation.
