JAMMU, July 5: A Zonal level meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) was held here today at Jourian where a new Zonal body of ABRSM was constituted.
The meeting was chaired by ABRSM president, Rakesh Sharma and was attended by Pawan Sharma, District president; Ved Parkash Sharma, District general secretary and Tarsem Lal, District media prabhari.
During meeting, Kuldeep Kumar was unanimously appointed as new Zonal president of Zone Jourian.
Speakers in the meeting also discussed various welfare issues concerning the teaching fraternity and resolved to further the cause of educational and professional betterment of teachers in the region.
Those who attended the meeting were Rajinder Singh, senior vice president District Jammu; Jeet Raj, district executive member; Bali Ram, secretary Zone Akhnoor; Tarseem Kumar and Kuldeep Raj.
The newly announced Zonal team included Tirath Ram, senior vice president; Surinder Kumar, vice president; Sukhdev, general secretary; Mohan Lal, media prabhari; Shinda Kumar, cashier and Khem Raj, secretary.
Others who were present in the meeting were Roshan Bral, Sudesh Kumar, Yash Paul, Raj Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Satish Sharma and Viney Kumar.
