JAMMU, Aug 25: Kuldeep Gupta from Government Higher Secondary School Jindrah, has been selected for the prestigious National Teachers’ Award 2025.

A resident of Gangyal Jammu, Kuldeep Gupta is a Lecturer in Zoology subject and presently posted at Government HSS Jindrah. He is the only person from the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh, who among 45 teachers across India, has been selected for this prestigious award.
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on September 5, 2025. Each award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal.
