SRINAGAR, Jan 9: The University of Kashmir today announced winter vacations for all teaching departments of its main as well as off-site campuses from January 10 to February 22, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the vacation will be observed across all teaching departments during the period.
However, the university clarified that administrative work will continue as usual.
The notice further directed Heads, Directors and Coordinators of departments, off-site campuses and centres to ensure that their respective offices function routinely during the vacation period.
It also stated that examinations, if any, along with other activities, will be conducted strictly as per the already notified schedule.
