KPS discusses Private Member’s Bill

JAMMU, July 28: The Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Jammu held a meeting today under the chairmanship of it’s president K. K. Khosa to discuss the development about acceptance of the Private Member’s Bill by the president of India titled “The Kashmiri Pandits (Recourse, Restitution, Rehabilitation and Resettlement) Bill, 2022″of the Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley introduced by Vivek Tankha member of the Rajya Sabha.
The members observed that the Bill was comprehensive in nature and care has been taken to cover all aspects of the causes, fallout and the reversal of the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits by their resettlement back in the Valley with honour dignity and full sense of security.
Apart from thanking the President for her approval, the members expressed their gratitude to the Narendra Modi led Government for allowing the placement of the Bill in the Rajya Sabha for discussion.
