JAMMU, Apr 17: A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits led by Apex Member Roshan Lal Raina and NC Minority Cell working president M K Yogi called on Chief Secretary Iqbal Khandey and apprised him of the problems of displaced Pandits living in camps and non camp localities with special reference to Jagti camp.
The delegation discussed the problems of power curtailment faced by Jagti camp inmates and delay in the implementation of PM’s employment package for displaced youth from Valley.
The delay in the allotment of the shops to deserving people from the camp were also discussed. The Chief Secretary assured the delegation that the concerned officers will be directed to settle the issues of the migrants and ensure the power supply to the camp on the same pattern as is case with other parts of the state. Vinod Tikoo from Jagti and other members were also the part of the delegation.
