KPC lambasts Mufti over Kashmir issue

JAMMU, Dec 5: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) lambasted PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on his claim that Kashmir is unsettled issue, which needs to be resolved between India and Pakistan.
A meeting of KPC was held under the chairmanship of its chief Kundan Kashmiri, who while speaking stated that Kashmir is already a settled issue but to remerge PoK with India is unfinished task to be accomplished for which a unanimous resolution of 1994 adopted in Indian Parliament needs to be given practical shape at the earliest.
He criticized Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for inviting and instigating separatists to jump in negative and divisive politics of PDP to create unrest in the State.
He stated that the final resolution of so-called Kashmir issue is early implementation of resolution passed in Parliament in 1994 to free PoK from the forcible occupation of Pakistan and abrogation of Article 370 from the State, which is against the spirit of unity and national integration of the county.
Among others, who spoke were Dr TK Bhat, Chairman, KPC Jammu and Tej Pandita, President.
