JAMMU, Sept 2: More KP organizations have condemned the attack on migrant quarters in Kashmir and urged the Government to ensure the safety of members of the community in Valley and their properties.
In a statement issued here today president Shri Sukhraj Bhairov Asthapan Trust Rattan Lal Pandita while condemning the attack on migrant camp at Kupwara demanded stern action against the culprits who have brought a bad name to entire Kashmir by damaging its culture.
Mr Pandita also appealed the political parties and civil society to come together and help in normalizing the situation in the Valley. The Legislators across political parties should sit together to find a solution to the issue.
Meanwhile, the Executive Committee members of Sampooran Kashmir Sangathan (SKS), today strongly condemned the attack on Kashmir Pandit employees’ Transit Camp at Nathussa in Kupwara district and warned Government that if KP community will not be addressed by GoI separately otherwise the time has come that the disciplined community will choose undisciplined path as tolerance has crossed all limits.
Chairman Anoop Koul, President Rakesh Koul and National Secretary Bharat Kachroo while addressing an emergency meeting condemned the incident and categorically conveyed a message to Government of India (GoI) that they should once for all decide the fate of displaced community. They further expressed deep concern over Nathussa incident and expressed that our community is suffering for the last 27 years and no attention is being given towards it. They further demanded that government should not now put precious life of Kashmiri Pandit employees at risk after this incident is concerned.
They also urged GoI that Kashmiri Pandit can’t wait further as idle spectator before government and demanded that displaced community strongly want their fundamental right to survive as this community is not enjoying picnic across the nation who have been uprooted from their own soil before 27 years.
