JAMMU, Dec 20: State president, Shiv Sena (Bala Ji Sahib Thackeray), Dimpy Kohli, along with other senior leaders of the party today toured Akhnoor and Sunderbani, interacted with party workers and gave them directions to get prepared for the forthcoming Local Bodies and Panchayat elections.
While addressing the party workers there, Kohli elaborated the programmes of the party for upcoming Municipal and Local Bodies Elections. He stressed the party workers to work hard for the success of party candidates in the forth coming Local Bodies Elections and Panchayat Elections.
Kohli said that workers at every nook and corner of the State will prepare themselves for the coming elections and the party has decided that it will fight on its own in these elections.
He said membership of the party in already in full swing and day by day thousands of people are joining the party putting faith on the policies of Late Bala Ji Sahib Thackeray. He expressed hope that in few days party will become a strong force in J&K.
He said that in this region Mughal Road has become a safe passage for smugglers as no checking of vehicles is done on this road. Alleging that local police is also hand in glove with the smugglers, he said that Government must take note of this and install X-ray machines in this route to check smuggling.
