KKHMS concerned over delayed approach in resolving issues of migrants

JAMMU, May 16: Chairman-cum-President of Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS) Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan has expressed serious concern over delayed approach of Central and UT Governments in resolving various issues of migrants.
He demanded enhancement in monthly cash assistance, cashless treatment benefits under Ayushman Bharat SEHAT Golden cards schemes, release of pending monthly pension in favour of old age, disabled, handicapped and widows and clearance of long term pending Mediclaim bills from the office of RRMC.
He added that COVID-19 pandemic has added job losses and created economic crisis. He said that Government is not serious to provide all Government sponsored and financial benefit schemes to migrants during the curial period.
Mahajan urged to Central and UT Governments to take serious cognizance of migrants’ issues on humanitarian grounds and provide all benefits so that they may not be deprived from their genuine benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
