DODA, Mar 18: Police here today recovered a kidnapped girl from Kathua and handed to her relatives.
Giving details, Police said that on February 25, 2025, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Doda by Noor Din, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Bharat Bhagla that his minor daughter was kidnapped by Manzoor Ahmed, son of Abdul Karim, resident of Gundana.
An FIR with number 49/2025 under Section 137 (2) BNS was registered at Police Station Doda in this regard and on the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, a Police team under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Doda and SHO Doda was constituted which was led by PSI Dilber Singh, IC PP Mohalla.
With hectic efforts Police recovered the kidnapped girl from Manzoor Ahmed from Sutar Khad, Thara Kalyal, Ramkot, Kathua.
Investigation in the case was going on.
Meanwhile, Police in Doda also traced out a missing girl and reunited with her family.
Missing report of Mastoora Banoo, daughter of Shoket Ali, resident of Trithloo, Gandoh was entered at Police Station Gandoh on February 4, 2025 and now she was traced out by cops from Ramban and re-united with her family after completing all formalities and the case was closed.
