DODA, Oct 21: Thathri police rescued a kidnapped minor girl within 24 hours.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by a family with Police Station Thathri stating that their 14-year-old daughter has been kidnapped by Shakti Kumar, son of Kund Lal, a resident of Charya tehsil Thathri.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 69/17 under Section 363, 504 and 109 RPC was registered at Police station Thathri and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
On specific information, police team recovered the kidnapped minor girl and handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
Hunt is going on to nab the kidnapper, who managed to escape on seeing police cops.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Manjeet Singh rescued the kidnapped girl under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
