DODA, Dec 12: Police here today recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested her kidnapper.
Police sources informed that a complaint was lodged at Police Station Bhaderwah on December 9, 2024 by one Bashir Ahmed of Bhaderwah regarding kidnapping of his daughter by some unknown persons from Chinote, Bhaderwah.
After registering the FIR with No. 178/2024 U/S 137 (2) BNS at Police Station Bhaderwah in this regard, cops started investigation and raided many places.
Ultimately the team of cops led by SHO Bhaderwah and SDPO Bhaderwah under the overall supervision of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta recovered the kidnapped girl from Ram Nagar area of Udhampur and accused involved in kidnapping, Naresh Kumar, son of Hans Raj, resident of Sira, Pattan Garh, Udhampur was also arrested.
Investigation of the case was going on.
