RAMBAN, July 17: A Khidmat Centre/Common Service Centre (CSC) was sealed here today by Tehsildar Banihal.
Official sources said that the Khidmat Centre in Banihal market owned by a lady was sealed by the authorities while acting on a complaint by a local youth that the Centre operator had overcharged him of Rs. 2500 for preparing documents for acquiring legal heir certificate through online mode.
Acting on the complaint, Tehsildar Banihal, Amjad Ali Keen constituted a team of officers and officials which reached the spot and conducted a search of the Khidmat Centre and recovered some incrementing documents, stamps of officials indicating some forged documents which were made by the Centre operator.
The Centre was sealed by a team of officers and officials and the notice was also pasted on a pillar regarding the same.
Some stamps of officers and officials were also recovered from the Centre.
The raiding team included three Naib Tehsildar level officers.
