SOLAN, (HP) Nov, 7: Gulam Ali Khatana, MP today launched a frontal attack on Congress for its policy of divide and rule and exploiting the minorities just for political gains and then leaving them in lurch.
Addressing a meeting at Doon near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh today Khatana said that Congress with each move has weakened the nation and divided the people in the name of religion, region, caste and language.
The meeting which was also attended by sitting BJP MLA and candidate Paramjit Singh Khatana said that BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has ushered in an era of peace, development and economic growth. During eight years of BJP rule, Indian prestige has touched new heights across world, no incidents of riots have been reported across India, benefits of development are reaching to the common man and despite Covid-19 pandemic, Government not only vaccinated the whole Indian population but helped countries across world by exporting vaccine to them.
He said that Congress has not desisted from divisive politics and still is continuing its support to forces who are hell bent to break India.
Khatana asked the people not to fall prey to the divisive politics of Congress which has only exploited the common man while benefitting only the rich and elite. He said that Congress is a conglomerate of dynasts who dance to the tunes of only one family. He said that people should equate the eight years rule of BJP with decades of misrule by the Congress and they will certainly choose the BJP in Himachal Pradesh too. He said that the developmental activities have seen an upward swing during the past five years in Himachal Pradesh and Central Government has also focused in hilly State to give impetus to developmental activities in the State.
