JAMMU, Jan 14: Councillors Arun Khanna and Gopal Gupta of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) here today assumed offices of Chairmen of Standing Committees of the Urban Local Body while the Councillor Subash Sharma will do so on Monday.
The trio—Gupta, Khanna and Sharma are senior leaders of BJP.
Gopal Gupta is Councillor of JMC from Ward number 5 and he assumed the office of Chairman of Swacch Bharat Committee of JMC while Arun Khanna is Councillor of Ward number 25 and he assumed the office of Chairman of Health and Sanitation Committee of JMC.
Subash Sharma, Councillor of Ward number 36 will assume office of Chairman of Social Justice Committee of JMC on Monday.
Senior BJP leaders Kavinder Gupta, Sat Sharma and JMC Mayor were prominent among others present on the occasion.
