UDHAMPUR, May 10: A blood donation camp was organised at Military Hospital Northern Command here, today under the chairmanship of senior political leader, Pawan Khajuria.
A large number of volunteers and patriotic youth led by Pawan Khajuria donated blood for the Army jawans on the occasion.
Addressing the youth, Khajuria said “We all are duty bound to donate blood for the Army jawans who receive injuries while fighting enemy on borders”. He said, “While the jawans fight valiantly on borders and it is our duty to extend all support and cooperation to them and boost their morale”.
He said whether on border or within country the enemy has to be taught a lesson and our security forces are doing a commendable job in this regard. He, while highlighting the daring devil stories of Indian Army said our Army has achieved recognition in the entire world for its valour and discipline.
Khajuria said history is witness whenever nation faced any kind of aggression from outside, its patriotic people stood with armed forces shoulder to shoulder. He said on the same lines we are organising a blood donation camp today to show solidarity with our armed forces. He said “With the blood donation we can give a new lease of life to people and this is a noble cause”.
He stressed on organising such blood donation camps in near future too for the Army jawans and appealed the youth to come forward for voluntary blood donation.
