JAMMU, Apr 7: Samvedna Society chairman, Keshav Chopra here today called upon Kanta Devi, Regional Director of Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer) Jammu and discussed various social welfare initiatives and the importance of efficient land record management for the common citizens.
Chopra emphasized that Samvedna Society remains committed to work as a bridge between the administration and at the grassroots level to ensure that benefits of government schemes reach every corner of the society.
Kanta Devi thanked the chairman Samvedna Society for his visit and the work being carried out by his organization.
She noted that the role of civil society and dedicated activists is vital in maintaining a healthy administrative ecosystem and stated that her office remains focused on the time-bound redressal of public grievances and modernization of land records to better serve the people of Jammu.
