JAMMU, Nov 7: Chairman Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra here today met Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and discussed Samvedna Society’s extensive efforts in social welfare, health awareness and cultural preservation across J&K.
Chopra informed the LG about upcoming ‘Anti Drug Cricket Tournament Jammu Veteran League’ by Samvedna Club from November 18 to 28, 2025 at MA Stadium, Jammu.
He highlighted Samvedna Society’s key achievements including organization of 100 free health check-up camps, successful facilitation of various Government welfare schemes to the people at doorstep and widespread voter awareness campaigns to enrol maximum first time voters.
Chopra informed Sinha about hosting the Duggar De Rattan Awards 2025, an initiative to promote Dogri language and local heritage of the region.
He expressed appreciation for the concerted efforts of J&K Police and Civil Administration in curbing the drug menace across J&K.
The LG appreciated commitment and dedicated social works of Samvedna Society.
