JAMMU, Dec 16: Aimed to ensure that Government welfare benefits reach the doorstep of every citizen, social activist and Chairman of the Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra organized a distribution drive here today.
During the program, a large number of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) Golden Cards and Ration Cards were distributed among the residents, marking another step toward total coverage of social security schemes in the area.
Speaking on the occasion Chopra highly appreciated the efforts of the Director of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and the entire departmental team for their efficiency and coordination in ensuring that ration cards are processed and delivered to the rightful beneficiaries without delay.
He said, “The seamless cooperation between social organizations and administrative departments is essential for the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society and thanked the department for their steadfast support in making these essential documents accessible to the public.”
The event concluded with Chopra reaffirming the Samvedna Society’s dedication to serving the public and ensuring that the benefits of such transformative schemes reach the last person in the queue.
Among others who were present during the camp included Sourav Gupta, Parshotam Lal, Raman Sharma, Divyansh Gupta, Abhishek Gupta, Manoj Tandaon and Raj Kumar.
