JAMMU, May 24: KC International School Jammu bagged won the overall trophy in the 2nd Jammu District Petanque Championship 2014-15, organized by the J&K Petanque Association at KC International School, here.
KC Gurukul was adjudged as first runners-up and Army Public School Domana as the second runners-up.
Dr Jitender Singh, Member of Parliament, Udhampur-Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
7 leading schools and two Petanque Clubs of Jammu participated in the Championship.
Rajinder Sharma, State Office Secretary and State in-charge election related matters and Dr Ravi Bhushan, Principal of KC International School were the guests of honour on this occasion.  This championship was conducted under the supervision of  Tarsem Sharma, general secretary, J&K Petanque Association.
