SRINAGAR, Mar 9: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today expressed serious concern at the ‘closure’ of cement plants in Khrew in South Kashmir.
The KCCI president, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, said it was high time that the Government intervened to end the unwarranted interruption of business units in the area.
“The continuous closure of cement units has resulted in shortage of cement and irreparable loss to the local manufacturing units who have critical investments in the industry,” he said.
