KCCC drubs Kashmir Club by 48 runs

JAMMU, Mar 8: Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) defeated Kashmir Cricket Club (KCC) by 48 runs in the ongoing 1st Drug Free Youth T20 Cricket Tournament being played at Country Cricket Academy ground at Gharota, here.
Earlier, KCCC winning the toss and electing to bat scored 140 runs for 5 in the allotted 20 overs. Pardeep Bali was the top scorer with unbeaten 65 in 48 balls, while Vimarsh Kaw contributed 38 runs in 37 balls. Shashi chipped in with 18 runs in 20 balls, while Bandeep Singh scored 8 in 6 balls. For Kashmir Club, Amandeep Singh took 2 wickets, while Ashu and Gagan took 1 wicket each.
KCC in reply collapsed at 92 runs in 19.3 overs. Cool scored 31 runs in 20 balls, while Sunny and Vicky scored 18 and 17 runs in to the total respectively. For KCCC, Dhruv Mahajan and Manik Gupta took 2 wickets each, while Pardeep Bali, Akash Choudhary, Bandeep Singh and Sameer Khajuria took 1 wicket each.
Pardeep Bali was declared as the man of the match.
Kings Cricket Club will take on Gymkhana Cricket Club, while Trikuta Cricket Club will lock horns with Friends Cricket Club Bhalwal at the same venue tomorrow.
