JAMMU, Mar 26: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kavinder Gupta kick-started tiling work at Ambedkar Nagar, Ward Number 52 here.
BJP District President Vinay Gupta, Chairman Social Justice Committee JMC and Corporator Ward Number 52 Ajay Gupta besides District Secretary Narinder Koki were present on the occasion.
Gupta lambasted the opposition parties i.e. National Conference, People’s Democratic Party, Congress, etc for making every attempt to malign the BJP and its Government at the Centre just to hide the misdeeds during their governance in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir for over seven decades.
He said that the incumbent Union Administration led by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha deserves full credit for initiating revolutionary measures in every sector including the economic front.
He asserted that these developments have been irking the aforesaid political parties and their leaders because such unprecedented investment not only from within the nation, but also from abroad proves beyond any doubt that the misgovernance on the part of these parties during their regimes.
He said that people have now fully understood the game plan of valley based politicians and their divisive politics and they are going to completely decimate these parties in the coming Assembly elections.
Prominent among others present on the occasion include Ward President Nitin Thappa, Booth President Deepu Kumar, Booth President Bodh Raj Sharma along with team of Ward Number 52 besides Rajinder Kumar, Sant Singh, Hans Raj, Vikas Kumar, Ankush Sharma, Sodhi, Bhan besides a large number of locals of the area.
Later, Kavinder Gupta kick started black-topping work worth Rs 1 crore at Doda Basti and its adjoining areas in Belicharana.
Others present on the occasion included Vinay Gupta District President, Narinder Koki Secretary, Bharat Bhushan Mandal President, Maan Singh, Daler Singh, Suraj Rana and Antu Kotwal.
