JAMMU, Feb 14: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) General Secretary Organization, Ashok Kaul, chaired a meeting with regard to BJP membership drive, organized by BJP (J&K) Kashmir Displaced Unit at the Party Head Office, Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawani, here today.
Manish Sharma, incharge membership drive J&K was also present on the occasion.
While addressing the Party workers, Mr Kaul lauded the efforts of the Unit for its relentless efforts in making around 7000 members so far and enthused them to leave no stone unturned in making the Party number one not only in the State but in the entire Country as well.
He, however, stressed upon the workers not to feel dejected or disillusioned for the ensuing day to day problems and assured them that these would be sorted out and redressed soon, adding the quorum needs to continue working as a cohesive unit.
Speaking on the occasion, Manish Sharma explained the workers as to how the membership drive has to be executed for better results.
Senior BJP leader, Moti Kaul stressed upon the workers to reach out in the higher echelons of power for mitigating the burning issues of Displaced Community.
Unit president, T N Bhat and general secretary, Virender Kuchroo also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among others members who participated in the meeting were Sheela Handoo, Mohan Ji Sopori, A K Pandita, P L Dhar, Dr A K Koul, P N Pandita, Vijay Raina, Makhan Lal, Satish Zutshi, Soom Nath Dhar, Sunil Bhat, Dr Bal Ji and Chaman Lal Koul.
