JAMMU, Sept 17: Police today arrested a murder accused involved in the killing of her aunt at village Bhagta in Katra town of Reasi district.
The accused Sham Lal alias Noni son of Vikram R/o Bhagta was arrested from a house in the same village, police said.
He had murdered his aunt Pushpa Devi wife of Puran Chand with a sword suspecting that she was practicing witchcraft.
Police have arrested the accused and registered a murder case against him.
Police parties headed by SDPO Katra Rajinder Katoch and SHO Ashok Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Reasi Raghubir Singh and SP Katra Mohan Lal.
