KATHUA, Dec 6: One day convention of Private Schools of Kathua district was organized here today by the district unit of Private Schools Association.
Provincial president of the Association, Kamal Gupta, chaired the convention wherein various issues regarding smooth functioning of private schools were discussed.
Kamal Gupta appreciated the efforts of the Kathua unit for organizing such a grand convention and assured that the Association will keep on fighting tooth and nails for getting resolved the vital issues being faced by the private schools.
The convention started with the welcome address by Gandharb Singh Katal, district president PSA Kathua. He highlighted the various problems being faced by the Private Schools.
After this, Yograj Sharma from Hiranagar , Romesh Gupta from Dyalachak, Ashok Sharma from Billawar, Dr Hari Dutt Shishu from Nagri Parole, Ankur Arora and Satish Sharma from Basohli, K K Bakshi, Satpal Badyal, Naresh Kumar and Satpal from Kathua spoke on the occasion and discussed various issues.
It was followed by the speech of Sanjeev Luthra, district president Jammu city and Ajay Gupta , State coordinator of J&K PSA. Ajay Gupta made all the stakeholders aware about the current policies and impositions by the authorities.
All the proceedings of the convention were carried out by Mahipal Sharma, joint secretary of the Association. Vote of thanks was presented by Kapil Dev Sharma , general secretary of district unit.
Prominent among others, present on the occasion, included Retd Prof R K Gupta, Ravi Raina, Praveen Kousar, Ravinder Jasrotia, Parshotam Sharma, Biwakar Andotra, Ashwani Sharma, Harsh Mahajan and Manju Gupta.
