KATHUA, July 6: Police in Kathua have traced out two ladies who were missing since January 17 and February 25 this year respectively and were reunited with their family members today.
Police said on January 17 this year a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Bani by one of the family members of lady stating therein that her wife namely Nano Devi wife of Bindro Ram of Sandhi tehsil Bani and district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Bani and search was started to trace her. Acting instantly on the missing report, lady was traced today. While another missing report was lodged at PS Rajbagh on February 25 this year in respect of missing lady namely Ruksana Begum, wife of Altaf Hussain of Chabba Chack tehsil, Marheen and district Kathua by one of her family member stating therein that his wife had gone missing. Acting swiftly on it search was started and the lady has been traced out today and later on both were immediately handed over to their legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
