KATHUA, Nov 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, Mohita Sharma has seized four vehicles in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Hiranagar which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material.
Police said its team led by SHO PS Hiranagar Inspector, Ashish Sharma under the guidance of SDPO Border, Dheeraj Katoch while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized four vehicles bearing Registration Number JK21D-9878, JK21J-8799, JK21J-8049,JK08G-3273indulged in illegal mining / transportation of construction material(Sand & Bajri) without any legal permission.
All the vehicles have been seized by Kathua Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
