Traces missing lady

KATHUA, Dec 6: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma has seized three vehicles i.e (Tractors along with Trolleys ) in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Billawar which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material.
Police said today its team led by SHO PS Billawar Inspectyor Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Neeraj Padyar while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized three vehicles ( Tractor Trolleys bearing Registration Numbers JK08J-1824,JK08Q-9084 & JK08Q-4858 ) who were involved in illegal mining / transportation of construction material.
All the three vehicles (three tractor trolleys) have been seized by Kathua Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
Meanwhile, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, Ms. Mohita Sharma traced out one missing lady and handed over to her legal heirs in the jurisdictional area of PS Billawar.
Police said on November 22 one person namely Asif Hussain, son of Mohd.Ramzan of Dher Phinter tehsil Billawar district Kathua came at this PS and lodged a written complaint regarding missing of his sister namely Shabnam Akhter 19, daughter of Mohammad Ramzan of Dher Phinter tehsil Billawar. On receiving complaint a missing report was entered at PS Billawar vide GD No.41 dated 22-11-2025 and a team of PS Billawar led by SHO Billawar Inspector, Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO Billawar Neeraj Padyar searched various places with technical assistance along with timely human intervention recovered the missing lady from Rajouri .After completing all legal formalities the said missing lady handed over to her legal heirs.
